Sticker rules

The Time Traveler's Code

Pip adventures should leave people smiling and places exactly as they were. Follow the Code every time you place, find, photograph, or share a Time Marker.

1

Permission Comes First

Only place Pip on property you own or where the owner has clearly allowed stickers.

2

Use Approved Sticker Spaces

Good locations may include designated sticker walls, community boards, participating businesses, personal luggage, water bottles, journals, laptops, vehicles, and other permitted surfaces.

3

Protect Special Places

Never place stickers on monuments, historic structures, museums, archaeological sites, religious sites, natural features, national parks, public signs, transportation equipment, artwork, or protected property.

4

Do Not Cover or Damage

Never cover safety information, another person's art, official labels, QR codes, signs, or existing stickers without permission.

5

Follow Local Rules

Sticker, littering, and property laws vary by location. Travelers are responsible for following local laws and venue policies.

6

Leave No Harm

Do not place Pip anywhere that could damage a surface, create litter, interfere with equipment, or require difficult cleanup.

7

Be Safe

Do not climb, trespass, enter restricted areas, stop in traffic, or put yourself in danger to place or find a sticker.

8

Respect Privacy

Do not post private addresses, faces, license plates, or personal information without permission.

9

Adults Help Young Travelers

Children should participate with a parent, guardian, teacher, or responsible adult.

10

When Unsure, Take Pip With You

Place the sticker on your own belongings, use it in a travel photo, or ask permission.

Place responsibly. Use only on your own property or approved sticker spaces. Never place on historic, protected, public-safety, transportation, natural, or private property without permission. Follow all local laws.
